Right now, Missouri teachers are doing extraordinary work under extraordinary pressure. Missouri ranks 50th in starting teacher pay and 47th in average teacher salary, yet our students continue to perform above the national average. That is a testament to the dedication and commitment of our educators.

MRTA and MRTA-F are working to help fund basic needs and meaningful projects that improve the day-to-day learning experience for Missouri students. The demand continues to grow, and we want to be able to say yes to every deserving classroom.  Last year alone, we awarded 84 classroom grants and 14 additional staff grants, each improving the learning experience for our students.
